It’s not the first time there has been social distancing on Spain’s beaches. This couple caused a sensation when in June 1910 they brazenly broke the rules forbidding men and women to share the same beach space in San Sebastian. Whether it was down to their protest or the changing tides of history, the segregation rule was dropped three years later. Source: Revista San Sebastian.
